The Tack-It Method on a Tumbler

If you are into making tumblers there is a great chance you have heard of the Tack-It method. This method uses repositionable adhesive to adhere to holographic glitter to a tumbler. Once the glitter is applied, it’s then rubbed into the tacky adhesive.

The purpose of this is to get the glitter to lay flat. This brings out the laser holographic effect. It’s all the rage now and the product that is most widely used has been out of stock all over!

Well, I am here to tell you that you can do this with adhesives you probably already have at home. It also even works with spray paint! yup just apply paint to your tumbler and apply glitter while the paint is tacky and BAM you have a laser holo glitter effect. 🙂 Watch toward the end of my video where I show a step by step Tack-it method to a tumbler .
